Saturday, April 21, 2007, marks the annual event at the Haleyville Elementary Cafetorium.

A sit-down meal will be served by Haleyville High School’s Junior Civitan Club from 6-7 p.m. The Band will perform from 7-9 p.m. and Haleyville Historical Society members will be on hand to assist newcomers with the steps. Antebellum dress is appropriate but not required.

Tickets are $15 for the entire evening or 2/$25. They may be purchased from Steve Turner at His and Hers or call 486-5543. Jerry Jackson, President of the Haleyville Historical Society, encourages everyone to come out and celebrate our heritage as do, President Elect Diane Miller, Treasurer Jo Ellen Parker and Secretary Vonda Honey. Meetings are held on the third Monday of each month at 6 p.m. at the Haleyville Conference Center in the basement of the old elementary school and new members are welcome.
